 Wedding Testimonials – 2014

Will and Gail

March 2014

Today Will and Gail married in the beautiful garden of Cork’s Cottage, Gawler. The setting was very romantic, and the bridal party looked absolutely gorgeous with orange as the choice for bridesmaids and accessories, including fresh orange roses.

It was the perfect Autumn wedding for Will and I at Cork’s Cottage in Gawler. The garden’s were just so serene and beautiful and the day could not have been made anymore perfect without our Celebrant Trish (Patricia Lawton). Right from the beginning Trish was there to support us in any way possible to make our day special, helping us with our vows and readings and also working with us to have a practise before the day to make sure we all knew what to do, especially the children. Trish delivered our ceremony to us and our guests in the most professional and thoughtful way. To add to our special day Trish also co-ordinated with me on her choice of outfit to match the bridesmaids. (That little extra touch that goes a long way)

Thankyou Trish from the bottom of our hearts for everything that you did. We hope that our daughter Kristen will get delight in using you again in her wedding next February 2015.

Gail and Will Norman.

 Mark and Leeanne April 2014

The bridal couple were blessed with a perfect autumn afternoon to celebrate their wedding in the garden of their beautiful home, surrounded by loving family and friends.

It was particularly significant to hold the ceremony at home, as the property has been in the family for generations, and recently Mark and Leeanne demolished the old house and together, built a beautiful new one, which the family will establish and develop to spend their lives enjoying.

It was such a happy occasion, and as purple is Leeanne’s favorite color, it was used very tastefully in their color scheme.

JAKE AND MALLORIE TIED THE KNOT AT THE SEA RESCUE SQUADRON, WEST BEACH

The beautiful 3 tiered wedding cake was made by Jake’s mother with such care and love, with the top tier fruit cake to keep.

Each place setting was individualised, with settings of cups, saucers, side plates and dinner plates. The table decorations were lovingly made by Mallorie and helpers, along with cutlery mats, and individual serviettes. The ambience was of “old world” charm, with everything hand made. It was a fun, family oriented occasion, with Bride and Groom reading beautiful vows they had written.

Maggie’s parents came from China and Kelvin’s father from Hong Kong, to share the celebrations and witness their marriage. Everyone was happy, and it was an exciting meaningful day. SCOTT AND ZOE

18th October 2014.

Scott and Zoe chose the Hotel Richmond as the venue for their Wedding – ceremony and reception. It was styled beautifully, with a touch of “olde worlde”.  Zoe was a gorgeous bride, almost of the “Gatsby” era, in a cream and gold gown, and long veil. Both her parents presented Zoe for marriage to Scott.

MATTHEW & MARIANNE

Saturday 1st November 2014 was a glorious day at the Mt. Lofty Botanical Gardens, Dwarf Conifer lawns, for the marriage of Matthew and Marianne. It was a small very pleasant occasion, with grandparents present, and relations from Interstate, among friends and other family members.

Marianne looked stunning, and carried a beautiful posy she made herself. In fact she did all the floral accessories for the day. The couple were very relaxed, and enjoyed the ceremony.

Robert’s family traveled from the UK to join Kaknika’s family in celebrating their marriage, on 21st December 2014, at home. Many happy guests joined the couple to share in their happiness, on a very warm summer’s day. The back garden was transformed to accommodate  guests at a beautiful ceremony, followed by a fantastic home cooked wedding “feast”, provided by the bride’s family and friends. Congratulations and very best wishes to them.

Patricia Lawton or Trish as she likes to be called, is an exceptional civil marriage celebrant. Robert and I have nothing but high praise for the amazing job she has done. From our first meeting, I felt like she was the perfect marriage celebrant for us. She is personable, warm, open and a wonderful communicator. Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be because we had Trish leading the ceremony. She has this amazing ability to make you feel truly cared for. We had a few personal issues leading up to our wedding but Patricia was understanding about it all. She has gone above and beyond that of a marriage celebrant. We cannot thank Patricia enough for the brilliant job, her talent for writing such beautiful words and deliverance of the wedding ceremony should be noted.

Thank you again for all that you have done,

Love,

Kaknika and Rob Wood
